Easy, no-effort recipes that are loved by my whole family, especially kids, are mostly what I like to make and add to my weekly rotation. This garlic Parmesan chicken skewers recipe is one of those recipes you will make again and again. You’ll need minimal ingredients and only 30 minutes in an air fryer to put together these yummy skewers.

Ingredients for garlic Parmesan chicken skewers recipe
Chicken
Boneless skinless chicken thighs are the best choice to make this recipe, as they are super juicy and tender. In addition to that, they are also cost-effective. Cut the chicken thighs into big cubes, then marinate them. You can also use chicken breast or a combination of chicken breast and thighs.
Species
You’ll need salt, black pepper, and paprika to season the chicken. If you like it spicy, then add red chili powder instead of paprika.
Mayonnaise
To make it extra juicy and flavorful, you’ll need 1.5 tbsp of mayonnaise for the marination. Trust me on this one, and your chicken will turn out super juicy.
Lemon juice
I used 1/2 tbsp of lime juice as I had only limes on hand when I was filming this recipe, but feel free to use lemon or lime juice.
Parmesan Cheese
I used about 1/4 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Mix the cheese with the marinade for the maximum flavor. We will also make garlic butter with Parmesan for an extra layer.
Garlic
I used 3 cloves of finely grated garlic for the maximum garlicky flavor. I won’t recommend using store-bought minced garlic for this recipe.
Garlic Parmesan Butter
Melt 2 tbsp of butter, then add 1 clove of minced garlic, a few leaves of chopped parsley, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Mix it well and apply it over the chicken skewers once cooked. After aplying the butter you can broil for 2 minutes or serve as it is.

Chicken skewers
I made 4 delicious chicken skewers from this recipe, which turned out to be a delightful dish perfect for any gathering or weeknight meal. You can use either metal or wooden skewers for this recipe; however, if you are opting for wooden skewers, make sure to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before using. This step is crucial as it helps prevent the skewers from burning on the grill and ensures that your chicken skewers turn out tender and juicy.
Air fry the chicken
Now line the chicken skewers on a try and air fry at 400°F for 16 minutes, flipping the skewers halfway through. Once done cooking, add a generous layer of garlic butter and broil for some coloring but this step is optional.
How to serve chicken skewers
You can serve the chicken skewers with a variety of dipping sauces, such as tzatziki, barbecue, or sweet chili, to cater to different tastes. These sauces not only enhance the flavor of the tender grilled chicken but also add a burst of excitement to your dining experience. Consider adding a few garnishes, like fresh herbs or a squeeze of lime, to elevate the presentation and make the dish even more appealing for your guests.
