What goes into mint mojito mocktail

Lemon juice
For this recipe, I tried freshly squeezed lemon juice as well as bottled juice and I didn’t see much difference or you can use half of each. I also sometimes use lime juice as they are easily available and are much cheaper. It’s your preference what would you like to use and either way you won’t be able to resist.

Sugar
I know 1 cup of sugar seems a lot but it will give you 20 servings. You can reduce the amount of sugar to 1/2 cup for a less sweet version.

Mint
I only used mint leaves for this recipe. Separate the leaves from the stems and wash them thoroughly before blending.

Black salt
This is a crucial ingredient for this recipe, you can find this black salt very easily in a South Asian store. If you can’t then use pink Himalayan salt instead.

Soda
I used regular lemon-lime soda but you can also use diet and zero sugar as well.

How to serve a mint mojito mocktail?

It is a refreshing summer drink perfect for get-togethers and parties. To serve the mint mojito mocktail, start by preparing a pitcher and adding the blended mixture, which consists of fresh mint leaves, lime juice, and sugar syrup. Once the mixture is in the pitcher, proceed to add a generous amount of ice to chill the mocktail and then carefully pour in the soda to give it a refreshing fizz. To enhance the presentation, garnish the glasses with extra mint leaves and slices of lime. Now, give it a good stir, ensuring that all the flavors are well combined, and serve the mocktail in tall glasses filled with ice. This delightful mocktail is perfect for any occasion, offering a rejuvenating burst of flavors that are sure to be a hit with your guests or to enjoy by yourself. Cheers!

Can I make it in advance?

I usually prepare this drink in advance to serve at gatherings. I like to make the lemon and mint mixture ahead of time, typically a week in advance, and then store it in the freezer. Another option is to mix it with water and turn it into ice cubes, which can then be mixed with soda for serving.
