- 1 tsp Loose-leaf black or black tea sachet 2
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 1 green cardamom

Add 1/2 cup of water to a pan. Once it comes to a boil, add tea leaves and let them simmer in the water for about 2-3 minutes.
Now add 3/4 cup of whole milk and let it come to a boil. Be careful because there’s a good chance you are going to spill it all over your stove.
Lower the heat and cook it for at least 3-4 minutes.
Strain the chai using a sieve or chai strainer. Add a sweetener of your choice and enjoy.
If your chai is about to boil, turn off the stove and also remove the pan from the stove to avoid spilling.
You can turn the burner on and then let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes before serving.
