Easy Fried Chicken

Fried chicken is one of my favorites and I crave it every so often. Making fried chicken is not easy because of all that coating and dipping etc. This recipe is very easy and it’s also gluten-free.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken with bones
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/3 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp fennel seed powder
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 crushed green chili adjust according to your taste
  • 1 egg
  • oil for frying

Instructions

Marinate the chicken

  • Pat dry your chicken pieces and make slits on the chicken slices for easy marination.
  • Marinate the chicken with all of the ingredients except for oil and leave it aside for half an hour.

Fry chicken

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add a few pieces of chicken at a time, and fry on medium-low heat for 10-12 minutes or until it’s golden brown.
  • Enjoy it with green chutney.

Note:
  1. Larger size chicken pieces will take more time to cook. Try to use smaller size drumsticks or wings for this recipe.
  2. Add more chilies or peppers to your likings.
