Easy Minced Beef Samosas

These easy minced beef samosas have a crispy exterior with delectable minced beef filling that is spicy and tangy. This easy samosa wrap makes the process significantly easy.

Ingredients

  • 8 Uncooked flour tortillas
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour mix all-purpose flour and water to make a thick paste.
  • 2 cups Oil vegetable oil for frying

Ingredients for Minced Beef Filling

  • 1 lb Minced beef or chicken
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp Neutral Oil
  • 1/2 cup Fresh cilantro or Dhania
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

Instructions

Prepare Filling

  • Add 2 tbsp of oil to a pan, then add minced beef (keema) and ginger garlic paste. Cook the minced beef until it changes color for about 5 minutes.
  • Now add all of your spices and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
  • Add 1 cup of peas mix it and cook for 6-7 minutes on a medium flame.
  • After 7 minutes, take the lid off, and dry all of the excess water. Add lemon juice and fresh cilantro. Let it cool down completely.

Fill in the samosas

  • Cut the flour tortillas in half with the help of kitchen scissors.
  • Mix 1 tbsp of all-purpose flour with a little bit of water at a time until a thick paste forms.
  • Apply flour paste on the flat side of the tortilla and bring it over to make a cone. Add 1 tbsp of filling and seal the edges by pinching the tortilla.

Fry samosas

  • Heat about 2 cups of oil in a large pan, once the oil is hot, (don't overheat it) lower the flame and fry samosas on medium heat until nice and crispy.
  • Serve with green chutney.

Notes

If you have fine keema it will cook in the given time but if you have chunky keema you might need to add 1/2 cup of water and cook for 7-8 minutes on low flame before adding peas.
