Green Chutney

Green herbs such as cilantro and mint is blended with green chilies, salt and cumin powder. Green mixture is then mixed with yogurt to make a thick and creamy chutney.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 green chili adjust according to your likings
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds or cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients and 1 tbsp of water to a blender.
  • Once blended, transfer to a bowl and mix with the yogurt.
  • Adjust the salt according to your liking, and enjoy.

Notes

 
  1. Adjust green chilies and salt according to your taste
  2. Don't add all the yogurt to the blender because the chutney will not be thick.
  3. You can blend it first with water or a little bit of yogurt and then mix it with the rest of it.
