- 3 lbs Chicken thighs and drumsticks bone-in and skin-on
Marinade for chicken
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Cayenne pepper you can use red chili as well
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Liquid smoke you can use smoked paprika instead
- 1 tbsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
Honey Harissa sauce
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1/4 cup Harissa use hot or mild according to your taste
- 2 tbsp Butter
Get Recipe Ingredients
Pat dry your chicken and then marinate the chicken with all the spices listed for the marinade. Preferably overnight or 30 minutes minimum.
Preheat your oven to 425°F and bake your chicken for 25 minutes turn your chicken to the other side and bake for another 15 minutes.
Bake time may vary depending on your oven.
Mix butter, harissa, honey, and any leftover marinade.
Cook for a few minutes on the stove until it thickens.
Once your chicken is baked, take it out of the oven and apply honey harissa sauce on both sides and bake for another 5 minutes.
Your chicken is ready. Enjoy!
