Shrimp Tacos

Ingredients

Salsa

  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 medium red onion
  • 1 cup cilantro
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Toppings

  • 2 jalapeño optional
  • 1 lime sliced
  • 8 tortillas
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  • Defrost and peel your shrimps.
  • In a bowl add shrimp with salt, paprika, chili, onion, garlic, cumin, and coriander powder, Add oil and lime juice. Mix everything and set it aside for a few minutes.

Salsa

  • While your shrimps are resting go ahead and peel and dice onions. Also, dice tomatoes and finely chop cilantro. Add salt, pepper, and lime juice. Mix and set it aside.

Cook shrimp

  • Take a cast iron skillet or a pan, add 1 tbsp of oil, and cook shrimp for 3-4 minutes per side. Once shrimp changes color they are ready.

Assemble tacos

  • Warm up the tortillas, then add a layer of sour cream, shrimp, salsa, jalapeños, and lime juice. Serve it right away.
