Anda paratha is a very popular Pakistani breakfast that many people enjoy to start their day. I made this easy version, which takes minimum effort, as the paratha is already ready and can be found in most grocery stores. To prepare this dish, make a fluffy omelet using fresh eggs, and put the warm paratha on top of it. You can enhance the flavor by adding spices or vegetables to the omelet, such as diced tomatoes, onions, or green chilies. Once everything is ready, roll it up tightly to create a delicious and satisfying meal that combines the richness of the omelet with the flaky texture of the paratha.

Ingredients for Anda Paratha recipe
Paratha
Paratha is a Pakistani flatbread. You can easily buy frozen paratha from the Pakistani or Indian store. Sometimes I also use an uncooked tortilla. If you would like to make a homemade paratha, I have a recipe for you.
Eggs
I have always used whole eggs, but you can also use egg whites only.
Milk
To get the fluffy anda, add 1 tbsp of milk per egg. I like to use whole milk, but feel free to use fat free milk or even water.
Onions
I like the flavor of spring onions, but I also use regular yellow or red onions for this recipe. Peel and chop the onion. I like to use a dicer for even and quick cutting.
Tomato
A desi-style omelette is incomplete without tomatoes; chop the tomatoes into the same size pieces using a dicer.
Green chilies and cilantro
Use as much as you want. There is no hard and fast rule, or you can omit it altogether.
Seasoning
Cayenne Pepper is the one that I use, but you can use paprika or black pepper as well for milder versions, and the second seasoning is the regular table salt.
How to serve Anda Paratha
I like to serve this and paratha with a cup of Pakistani Chai, as the combination perfectly complements one another. The crispy, flaky texture of the paratha pairs beautifully with warm and sweet chai, making it an ideal breakfast or snack choice. I often add a side of tangy pickles or yogurt, which adds a refreshing contrast and elevates the meal to a whole new level.
