Chicken
Chicken is a total crowd-pleaser, loved by folks all around the globe. It’s a lean, mean protein that you can cook up in a zillion ways. Grill it, roast it, fry it, bake it—you name it! And the best part? You can get creative with flavors. Sprinkle on some herbs, toss in some spicy spices, or slather it in your favorite sauce. I dig using bone-in, skin-on chicken quarters and giving them a slice down the middle.
Harissa
let me introduce you to the amazing sauce called Harissa! It’s seriously mind-blowing and can be used in so many cool ways. Picture this: slather it on sandwiches, marinate your meat with it, or add a fiery kick to your favorite dishes. Seriously, once you try it, your taste buds will go “BAM!” and your food will never be the same again.
Honey
Beyond its delightful sweetness, honey also offers numerous health benefits. Rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, it can aid in soothing sore throats, promoting better digestion, and providing an energy boost. Honey mixed with harissa and other spices gives us this scrumptious chicken that you’ll crave again and again.

I used a variety of species in this recipe, including red chili, paprika, cumin-coriander powder, Italian seasoning, onion, and garlic powder.
Liquid smoke or smoked paprika
I happen to have liquid smoke that I used in this recipe, but you can also use smoked paprika to achieve the smoky flavor.
