Keema patties or puff pastry filled with minced beef are my childhood favorite. Puff pastry is filled with delectable minced beef made with spices and herbs then baked until nice and golden. Minced beef patties are a perfect appetizer to please a crowd, for Ramadan or any other party. This snack is always a hit and will be the first one to disappear from your spread.

Ingredients for Keema Patties
Minced Beef
I like to use lean beef for this recipe. If you have more fat in the minced meat then you can drain it or use a paper towel to discard any extras after cooking.
Spices
All of the spices used in this recipe are very common are easily available. I used salt, red chili powder, cumin, and coriander powder for spices. Feel free to add garam masala and more chilies to make it according to your own taste.
Puff pastry
This filling is enough for one package of puff pastry. After thawing the puff pastry according to the package direction, I rolled it out a little bit before filling in the keema and shaping the puff pastry then used a fork to seal the edges. One box of puff pastry will make 12 puff pastry snacks.
Egg wash
Beat one egg with 1 tbsp of water to make egg wash and brush on the pastry for beautiful golden brown color while baking.
How to stop the patties from sticking to the pan?
To make sure the patties are not sticking to the pan, cover the baking tray with baking or parchment paper. I have tried many methods like oiling the tray or covering it with aluminum foil but parchment or baking paper is the best method of them all.
