What goes into Buffalo Chicken Sliders

Shredded chicken

First of all, you’ll need 2.5 cups of shredded chicken. I took 1 lb of boneless chicken and boiled it. To boil the chicken, cut it into big chunks, add it to a pot with 1 cup of water, and cook on high heat. Once the water starts boiling, lower the heat and keep cooking for 20 minutes or until you see the chicken has changed color and is fully cooked through. Let it cool down and then shred it with the help of your hands or use two forks.

Seasoning

The only seasoning you need is the buffalo sauce of your choice plus the ranch seasoning, and the ratio of the buffalo sauce to ranch is 3:2, or you can taste test to adjust it to your liking. For this recipe, I used 1/2 cup buffalo sauce and 1/3 cup of ranch seasoning.

Red onions

I like to add some thinly sliced red onions for a crunch. You can also mix the onions with the chicken or not use them at all. It’s up to your personal preference.

Slider Buns

Use any slider buns of your choice; I got mine from a local bakery, but dinner rolls work perfectly as well. Cut the slider buns in half. Add a layer of chicken, then thinly sliced red onions, a generous amount of cheese, and then top it off with the second half of the bun.

Garlic herb butter

Melt your butter, then add freshly minced garlic and Italian seasoning to it to make garlic herb butter. With the help of a brush or a spoon, drizzle the garlic herb butter all over the sliders and then bake in a preheated oven at 350°F.

How to serve buffalo chicken sliders

Buffalo chicken sliders make a perfect game night or a get-together appetizer, as they are not only flavorful but also highly satisfying. I love making them when I’m hosting friends or heading to a potluck, as they always impress the crowd. Preparing these sliders is simple and efficient yet delicious; the combination of spicy buffalo sauce and tender chicken, all nestled between soft slider buns, creates a mouthwatering treat that appeals to everyone.
Whether you’re cheering for your favorite team or enjoying a casual gathering, buffalo chicken sliders are bound to be a hit.

How to store leftover

You can wrap it in the plastic wrap or keep it in an airtight container and leave the leftover buns in the refrigerator for 1 day. Although you can keep your filling in the refrigerator for up to a week, just assemble the slider buns when ready to eat.
