Tandoori salmon bowls

Ingredients for salmon bites

Salmon
I used 1 lb of wild-caught salmon cut into 2-inch cubes. I have marinated the salmon with yogurt, oil, lemon juice, and spices. You don’t need to keep it after applying the marination, you can cook it right away.

Spices
Tandoori salmon bites have very common everyday spices such as salt, red chili, paprika, cumin, coriander powder, and Garam masala. You can always adjust the spices according to your taste and make it mild or spicy but this spice mix was perfect for my taste buds.

Yogurt and lemon juice
Tandoori marinade is incomplete without yogurt and lemon juice. I have used 1/4 cup of yogurt and 1 tbsp of lemon juice in the marination. Yogurt and lemon juice will enhance the flavor and also a layer of flavor.

Time to cook the salmon bites
I air-fried salmon bites at 425F for about 10 minutes. Cooking time can be different depending on the air fryer and quantity so adjust it accordingly. You can also make it in a conventional oven but adjust the cooking time.

How to serve tandoori salmon?

Tandoori salmon serves as a main dish or a side. My favorite way is to serve with white rice, a side salad, and green chutney. These tandoori salmon bowls are perfect for a busy weekday meal, as well as for beginners. You can also use this recipe for meal prepping to save some time.
